Your students will be using this blog periodically for homework, quizzes, to self-reflect and to self-assess their own work and progress as the year progresses. Some participation on this blog is required, while other portions are optional. By participating in some of the optional assignments and reflections, your student will be getting extra practice in the content, while simultaneously earning additional points on their participation grade. If your child is struggling, encourage them to come here and complete some optional assignments to boost their confidence, help their learning, and even help their class grade!
There is a calendar feature is available on this blog, so they can always stay up-to-date on upcoming assignments and assessments. I encourage you to also use this tool to monitor your child's approaching assignments.
